It is natural for people to be concerned for their appearances and for teenagers, it matters more as other reasons are added on: one would like to fit in with his/her peers, to stand out among the rest, not satisfied with own appearance… These are some of the reasons why teens have considered undergoing plastic surgery to alter their appearance.

From my view point, I think teenagers should not undergo plastic surgery. Firstly, they are putting themselves in much danger of a surgery failure. The consequences of a failure in a surgery might destroy one’s appearance and have side effects like allergies, swelling, scars, bruises and pains, to name a few. Hence, one shouldn’t consider plastic surgery as it might do more harm than good. Secondly, no one is perfect in their appearance and patients who go for plastic surgery are usually not contented with their own appearance so after the first surgery, the patient will most likely to go back for further adjustments as they are never satisfied. Hence, one should be contented with one’s appearance and don’t consider plastic surgery as a remedy.

In conclusion, teenagers should not consider getting plastic surgery to alter their appearance. They can find other alternatives like fashion, health care products, beauty products and many more.
